Coconut Mango Banana Smoothie
by TASTYYUMMIES
serves 1
1 cup unsweetened almond milk / coconut milk blend (or any other non-dairy milk)
1 organic mango, sliced
1 organic banana, peeled
1 tablespoon maple syrup (or any other sweetener of your choice, dates, stevia, hone, raw sugar, etc)
1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil
1 handful of ice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes for topping, optionalAdd all of the ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately. Sprinkle some coconut flakes on top, if you wish.

These are subjective, there is plenty more that goes into happiness, beauty, self worth and success outside of the fitness world. However, when I think about my running and even more about my fitness, this is my truth. Not numbers on a scale or the reflection in the mirror. My healthy lifestyle is about doing everything I can to be the best, healthiest version of me and it starts here with changing my perspective away from what’s I’m “losing” towards what I’m gaining.
